This resume helped me get position at one of Prince Edward Island's nicest restaurants (Valley Pearl Oyster).

My Support Squad

Noah Cormier

My support squad has played a key role in my development both personally and professionally. These individuals have provided guidance, encouragement, and support, helping me stay motivated and continue working toward my goals.

Amber Ramsay

My mom is my biggest supporter and honestly my biggest fan. She’s always there for me no matter what, and I know I can count on her for anything. She’s played a huge role in my life and has helped shape who I am today. I really appreciate everything she’s done for me and continues to do, and I wouldn’t be where I am without her support.

Paris Mckenzie

I met my girlfriend Paris in September, and even though she hasn’t been in my life for a long time, she has already made such a positive impact on me. We spend a lot of time together doing things like going to the gym, learning how to cook new meals, and going out with friends. She brings a lot of positivity into my life. I really value the time we spend together and the role she plays in supporting me and helping me grow.

Aidan Hennigar

Aidan is one of my closest friends and my former roommate, and we also played lacrosse together. During a time when I was struggling, he introduced me to the gym and showed me the importance of discipline. He taught me that showing up every day and putting in the work, even when you don’t feel like it, is what leads to real progress. That mindset has stuck with me and has had a big impact on how I approach both my personal life and my goals.

Don Ramsay

My grandfather is someone I look up to more than anyone. He’s not only my grandfather, but also my best friend, and someone I can always count on. He was a teacher and principal, and is someone who is respected and loved by everyone in his community. He has taught me so much about hard work, how to treat people, and what it means to be a good person. The impact he has had on others is something I really admire, and I hope one day I can be like him in both my life and my career.

Dr. Jonathan Hood

Dr. Hood has been my professor over the past two years, and during that time he has seen me grow both as a student and as a person. He has helped me become a better speaker and pushed me to come out of my shell, which has had a big impact on my confidence. Through our conversations, he has also emphasized the importance of consistency, dreaming big, and thinking about my future. I wouldn’t be the person or student I am today without his guidance, and I really value everything he has taught me.

My STFX Roommates

My StFX roommates are my best friends, I consider them family. Whether it’s house gym sessions, movie nights, or going out together, we’ve made a lot of great memories and have shared alot of laughs. They’ve made my university experience what it is, and I honestly couldn’t imagine doing it without them.

Resources

Achieving my goals requires more than just effort, it also requires the right resources. Identifying these has helped me understand what I need to continue developing and working toward my future.

Experiences

My experiences have played a major role in shaping the skills I have developed and how I apply them in different areas of my life. Each of these experiences has contributed to my growth and will continue to influence my future.

My experience at STFX

My time at StFX has shaped me into the person I am today. Before coming here, I didn’t have a big group of friends, spent a lot of time playing video games, and had never even cooked a meal on my own. Since coming to university, I’ve come out of my shell, met an amazing group of friends, and started doing things I never used to do like meal prepping and going to the gym daily. It’s helped me grow a lot as a person and become way more confident and independent.

My Parents' Divorce

One of the biggest experiences that has shaped me was my parents’ divorce when I was around 10 years old. At the time it was difficult, but looking back it taught me a lot about resilience and adapting to change. It forced me to grow up a bit faster and learn how to handle situations that weren’t always easy. It also helped me understand the importance of family and strong relationships, and it’s something that has played a big role in shaping who I am today.

Extracurricular

STFX Lacrosse

Playing lacrosse has been a big part of my university experience and has taught me a lot over the years. For a long time, we kept losing to Dalhousie, which was frustrating, but it taught me how to deal with failure and keep pushing forward. When I first started, I was one of the weaker players on the team, but I was still included and supported, which showed me the importance of creating that kind of environment for others. Over time, through hard work and consistency, I was able to work my way into a starting role. That experience taught me that showing up every day and putting in the effort really does pay off.
